A Visit to the Halls of the Strahov Library with Private Guide – A9

The Baroque library at Strahov (Strahovská knihovna) is certainly considered one of the most beautiful of its kind in Europe. The number of the deposited facsimile is impressive, whether we think of the historic books (280,000) or several thousand original prints and manuscripts. We will have the opportunity to admire some rare Medieval books with illuminations. Together we will also visit the interiors of those Theological and Philosophical halls that are inaccessible to regular visitors. We will have the chance to see close-up different exhibited artifacts, beautifully gilded bookcases with ancient books, as well as stunning frescoes depicting the human quest for knowledge.
