Prague Arts Tour

Ken &. MJ Rudzinski, Wilmington, DE, USA

I realize this is late in coming to you but I wanted to tell you what a wonderful time Mary Jane and I had on your guided trip to the Karlstejn Castle. We were impressed how you took charge of all the arrangements and shared your own historical and cultural comments in moments the tour guide of the Castle was not speaking. You made the trip come alive for us. The next time we are in Prague we will certainly call on you to help us enjoy another historic site.

Every other year I lead a small group of theatre students on a tour of Eastern European cities. This year, during our stay in Prague, I chose to book a day trip to Cesky Krumlov so that we could see the Baroque Theatre. Since I had not been to this city on any prior trip, I felt that it would be a better experience for all of us if I booked a guide. This was one of the best decisions made on this trip because we were fortunate to have Jana Preti as our guide. Jana made our day an absolute delight. She is organized, extraordinarily knowledgeable and a very easy going pleasant person. What impresses me the most, is her ability to adapt her presentation to the specific interests of the group. When she found out that I was touring with students studying design and directing in the theatre, she instantly started giving us information about theatre and the arts. She even adapted our itinerary so that we could see the revolving theatre in the castle gardens. Jana paid attention to the interests of our specific group and delivered a tour that was one of the most memorable events of our trip.

Cesky Krumlov is a breathtakingly beautiful town and is a destination that I highly recommend, especially if you visit with Jana as your guide. I will certainly be contacting her for future trips to Prague.

We were thrilled to have found Jana and her team of tour guides during our stay in Prague. Spending the day walking all over the city with our guide Shaarka was an incredible experience that went beyond simply learning facts about Prague's architecture. She gave us insight into the historic and daily culture, trends and politics of her city and opened our eyes to so many things we wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

For people like us, who strive to really understand and experience the daily life of the places we visit, this was a wonderful way to be introduced to the city and changed our perspective to give us more appreciation and understanding during the remainder of our stay.

Jana was very responsive and easy to work with before and during our trip. We couldn't have felt safer or in better hands.

Really enjoyed this tour. Jana brought the region and its history to life with her in-depth knowledge and enthusiasm. Her ability to speak several languages in tandem is remarkable. Highly recommend Jana as a tour guide.

In September we had a wonderful tour of Prague, Budapest and Vienna. Jana Preti was our wonderful guide. Her enthusiasm and amazing knowledge made our trip so enjoyable. She really explained the culture and history of the places we visited. I had a fall and she was so kind in getting me help to get my glasses repaired. I would highly recommend her as a guide.

We also have just returned from a magical trip to Prague and having the use of Prague Arts Tour. Jana was an exceptional tour guide who made our trip to Prague all that more interesting and informative. After the tour we felt quite at home and we were able to explore the city with a firm understanding of the history of the city that we received from Jana. Prague Arts Tour and Jana are spot on. Thanks again Jana.

I engaged Prague Arts Tours for a number of tours designed to focus on art and history, especially my interests in the location of events during the Velvet Revolution, and others based on the theme of Seven Men at Daybreak. In relation to the latter I visited the crypt at the St Cyril and Methodius Church, which was very moving, and also the Lidice Memorial. I also undertook a number of tours which involved walks or use of taxis to accommodate my disability levels. I saw all levels of Prague Castle and the St Vitus Cathedral, Old and new Town and the Jewish Quarter. The Pinkas Synagogue was a particularly moving experience. My guides accommodated my disability levels seamlessly, I never felt pressured as to pace or time. Sharka and Jaroslava were both wonderful, both educated, erudite and informative, but never lecturing. I wanted detail and I got it. I love medieval Art and I saw it. Stops were plentiful and usually in restaurants related to my interests. The service is highly recommended. Jana was engaged on another tour in Munich, but her team is excellent and did Prague Art Tours, and Prague, proud. I enjoyed every minute and I hope to see them next time I'm in Prague. We are already planning next year. Jana and her team are marvellous.

My wife and I made a tailor made trip to Central Europe last Year that Prague Arts organized for Us. It was a wonderful experience. Everything was excellent, more than expected. Jana was either with Us or in close touch with Us to make sure everything was going on as planned.

Last September we toured the main cities of Central Europe with a bilingual group from Canada. During two weeks, Jana guided us through the different cities and buildings sharing with us her vast knowledge of art, history and daily life in her part of the world. We found her to be very professional at all times and eager to make sure everyone questions and worries were answered. She was flexible to the demands of the group and always tried to please everyone. She communicated clearly the daily activities in both languages and made us feel safe at all times. Jana's greatest asset is her love for her job and as a result she paints for you a picture of the beauty, opulence and the grandeur of these imperial cities. Her passion and professionalism made it all worthwhile. Thank you Jana.

A truly professional guide. On behalf of the Nursing Students of DePaul University, Chicago, we would like to thank-you for our wonderful guided tour through Prague Castle, Strahov Monastery, and the Jewish Quarter. You are so knowledgeable regarding so many areas: art, architecture, history, literature, and more-we learned so much! Likewise, we appreciated your advice on area restaurants and other exhibits, as well. We are most grateful for your expertise and can highly recommend you for other groups desiring a most competent and knowledgeable English-speaking guide.

Jana is one of the most experienced and enthusiastic tour guide I had in Czech Republic. She is very knowledgeable about the German influence on Czech language and culture as well as the interesting topics I wanted to learn more on the Cold War Period. I strongly recommend Jana for any private tours.
